Wonder Without Worries

DESIGNED FOR ALL AGES
Enjoy a gentle and inclusive zoo experience with our all-new Wonder Without Worries camp. Designed for guests of all ages, this camp takes place before the Zoo opens, offering a calm environment with reduced noise, smaller groups, and soothing sensory activities. It is the perfect way for everyone to connect with animals and nature in a supportive, welcoming setting.

Date/Time: June 9, 2026 ~ 8:00-9:00 am

Cost: $80 or $70 for members (includes a camper and a caregiver)

Zoo Tots Discovery Camp

DESIGNED FOR AGES 3-5
Introduce your little ones to the wonders of the wild! Campers will embark on exciting animal adventures and explorations, and they’ll get to meet some friendly zoo residents up close. Engaging in hands-on crafts will spark curiosity and imagination, while sensory play stations provide a fun and safe way for young children to learn. With themed activities tailored to curious minds, this camp offers an unforgettable first adventure at the zoo! One adult must accompany each child and is included in the cost. Snacks are provided.

Zoo Rangers Camp

DESIGNED FOR AGES 6-8
Grab your explorer hat and get ready for a wild day at the zoo! Campers will go on habitat hunts, meet amazing animals up close, help create enrichment toys, and peek behind the scenes where keepers care for their furry, feathery, and scaly friends. Packed with hands-on activities, discovery stations, and animal encounters. This engaging camp provides the perfect opportunity for kids to learn, create, and make new friends! Lunch, water bottle, and t-shirt are included.

Animal Exploration Crew

DESIGNED FOR AGES 9-12
Calling all young explorers! Join us for tons of zoo-sized fun, interactive challenges, and hands-on animal adventures. Campers will design habitats, decode animal behaviors, craft enrichment tools, and tackle zoo-wide missions that put their observation and problem-solving skills to the test. Along the way they will uncover behind-the-scenes secrets, explore the wonders of the animal kingdom, and discover that science is an adventure waiting to happen! Lunch, water bottle, and t-shirt are included.

Zoo BioLab Camp

DESIGNED FOR AGES 11-14
Dive into the wild at our Zoo BioLab camp, designed for curious middle schoolers. Over 3 days, campers will investigate animal behavior, explore habitats, and take part in hands-on experiments to learn about adaptations, nutrition, and conservation. From observing enrichment to learning about veterinary care and environmental science, every activity will spark curiosity and teamwork. Campers will leave with a deeper understanding of the natural world – and plenty of wild memories! Lunch, water bottle, and a t-shirt are included.

Wild Vet Workshop

DESIGNED FOR AGES 13+
Campers will explore basic veterinary procedures used to keep animals healthy, learn how zoo professionals monitor wellness, and get hands-on with safe, skill-building activities. This workshop will also feature a special talk with one of our Zoo veterinarians. There will also be operant training demonstrations that will show campers how positive reinforcement helps our animals participate in their own care. It’s the perfect blend of education, adventure, and wild discovery! Lunch, water bottle, and t-shirt are included.

ZCSI “Zoo-Crime Scene Investigation”

DESIGNED FOR AGES 13+
Calling all junior detectives! Join us for a thrilling 3-day adventure where campers become real-life zoo investigators. Campers will follow footprints, examine evidence, and observe animal behavior to solve a Zoo mystery. Through hands-on activities, such as plaster track casting, UV clue hunts, and forensic investigations, young detectives will learn about animal science, conservation, and zookeeper life while cracking the case! Lunch, water bottle, and a t-shirt are included. 

Date/Time: August 4-6th, 2026 ~ 10:00am-2:00pm

NextGen Zoo Scientist Program

DESIGNED FOR HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE AGES
Take your passion for wildlife to the next level! Designed for students who are ready for hands-on, real-world experiences. Over 4 days, participants will dive deep into animal biology, behavior, and conservation through immersive activities, including field observations, enrichment design, veterinary demonstrations, and habitat studies. CAmpers will practice research techniques, collect and analyze data, and explore career pathways in zoo science, veterinary care, and wildlife management. Lunch, water bottle, and a t-shirt are included.

Date/Time: July 14, 16, 21, & 23rd, 2026 ~ 10:00 am-1:00 pm

Cost: $225 or $215 for members

Sleepover Safari

DESIGNED FOR FAMILIES
Have you ever wondered what happens at the Zoo when the sun goes down? Bring your tent and camping gear and join us in this unique adventure as we explore the Zoo world under the stars!

You will get to experience Pine Grove Zoo in a whole new light! Our educator will take you on an evening adventure, you’ll get to prepare some enrichment treats with our Zookeepers, enjoy a late-night snack, and wake the next day to nature’s alarm clock. Upon waking from your slumber, enjoy a breakfast and an opportunity to watch some of the Zoo animals feast on their breakfast. This unique experience includes the cost of the Safari, admission to Pine Grove Zoo, snacks, and refreshments.

Friday, July 10, 2026 at 4:00pm through Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 9:00am

Cost:

Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. The cost is $60.00 per chaperone ($55.00 for members) and $50.00 for children ($45.00 for members). Children must be 5 years of age or older. At least one adult chaperone (18 years of age or older) per 4 children.
