Each connection is designed to deepen your understanding of wildlife, animal behavior, and conservation — all while creating once-in-a-lifetime memories.

Wild Animal Connections experiences are offered as a special add-on to your zoo visit and include small-group access, guided interaction with our Zoo Team, and unique educational opportunities.
Members receive a discounted rate as a benefit of their Pine Grove Zoo membership. Availability is limited, so reservations are recommended. Zoo admission may be required in addition to the experience.

Get up close and personal at our wolf connection experience! Meet our incredible wolf pack, Ginny, Lily, and Bryn, feed them a special treat, and discover what makes these fascinating animals so unique. Our expert keepers will share captivating stories about the wolves’ personalities and pack dynamics, along with some behind-the-scenes history of the zoo. It’s a howling good time you don’t want to miss!
Embark on a slow-paced adventure with our Sloth Connection! Step inside the cozy sloth habitat, meet Syd up close, and hand-feed him a delicious treat. Learn all about Syd’s laid-back lifestyle while enjoying a peaceful moment with one of nature’s most charming creatures.
Say hello to Morris, our charismatic porcupine, as he waddles out to greet you! Enjoy the chance to feed him his favorite snack, while our keepers share insights into his quirky personality and what makes porcupines such unique creatures. Discover their fascinating adaptations and learn all about Morris’s life at the Zoo – an experience sure to delight and educate visitors of all ages!
Dive into the fascinating world of Otters! Get up close and personal with our beloved resident, Tilly, and welcome the newest member of our otter family, Davey Jones! You’ll learn all about the playful and intelligent nature of River Otters. Plus, you’ll have the unique opportunity to feed Tilly and Davey Jones a treat and make unforgettable memories with these charming aquatic mammals.
Discover the wonders of our Big Cats! Get to know MErry, our mysterious Cougar; Naughty and Nice, the playful Bobcats; Ahana, the enchanting Snow Leopard; and Paski and Raya, the mighty Siberian Tigers. Dive into fascinating facts about each species, enjoy up-close encounters, and feel the thrill of feeding one of the tigers a special treat. It’s a paw-some adventure you won’t forget!
You will get to go behind the scenes with one of our amazing Zookeepers, learn all about the species and fun facts about our animal family, and you will get a change to feed one of the animals a treat.
Wild Connections are $35 per person and $25 per Pine Grove Zoo member.
Registering in advance for a Wild Connection is not required, though it is recommended in order to make the check-in process quicker for you!
Zoo admission is NOT included with the connection price.
All ages are welcome for a Wild Connection! Ages 6 and under must have a paid adult to accompany them.
Each Wild Connection averages approximately 30 minutes.
The number of participants is dependent on which animal you are visiting! We will do whatever it takes to accommodate any size group, whether that be splitting the group into smaller groups or rotating participants through, so everyone gets a chance to get the most out of their wild connection.
Wild Connections occur rain or shine! Though in the case of severe adverse weather, Connections may be rescheduled.
Yes absolutely! Photos are allowed and encouraged during your connection!
Closed toed shoes and not wearing any dangling jewelry is recommended but not required. Make sure you bring your camera and your love of animals!
