We are open
for the 2010 season! Hours are Mon-Sun 10-6 320-616-5595 |
Pine Grove Zoo,
located in Little Falls, is nestled among one
of the last standing grove of white pines in Minnesota. Meander
down paved paths and view a variety of exotic, native and
domestic animals at home in their spacious, natural habitats.
Interactive signs and a petting stable provide educational
encounters that will enhance your zoo visit and create long
lasting memories. The Zoo also offers serene walking trails
as well as large picnic and playground areas. To compliment
your zoo experience, a historic log cabin can be reserved
for all your special occasions.
Be sure to visit the Pine Grove Zoo in Minnesota this year.
The animals would love to see you!

The new bear cubs are here!! |
Bear Country, USA, once
again has sent baby bear cubs to Pine
Grove Zoo. The new bear cubs are welcomed
by “Jerry" & "Garrison”,
the two year old male bear cubs that everyone has come to know.
The Bear Exhibit is again full this year because
we also have our original bears, "Teddy”
and “Yogi”. Don’t
miss out on all the entertainment that these bear cubs
can provide.
The new wolf pups are here!! |
Come see the new Wolf pups and our new Wolf exhibit! The
new wolf exhibit has been completed and has it's new
tenants. The pups have a heated portion of the building and
the other portion is for storage. The new pups also
have a large grassy area to play in that has a big rock pile with a
cave for them to use. The pups have lots to explore and
plenty of room to play. We still have our adult wolfs,
Harley and Indiana, in the same spot as last year. Don't forget about
the wonderful Wolf Education Center Building!
We
have 2 baby elk! Look for them with their mother's. They
can bee seen laying in the grass or by the downed tree. As they
get older they will be seen with the mothers even more! The Petting Stable has a full compliment of baby animals and our
resident donkeys, “Rosie” and “Xote”. We have 2 baby goats (Snow &
White), 2 baby lambs (Bo & Peep), 2 baby Lion Main bunnys (Boo
& Dusty). The Bear Necessities Gift Shop is open again with many
new items.
Karl is joined by 4 other tortoises this year! Come and check
these amazing animals out. They are fascinating to watch and
learn about.
In the shade area north of the tigers will be information signs
and a display talking about the new bat and bird house project.
What a great way to learn what new projects we are doing.
!!SAVE!!
With Pine Grove Zoo
Punch Cards |
The Pine Grove Zoo Punch Card will be back this year! The Punch
Card can save on admission and give you the
freedom to bringing any guest you want when visiting
the zoo. Buy a Punch Card for $90, which gives
you 30 admissions. This allows you to bring out-of–town
visitors, neighborhood children, day care children,
relatives, etc! The Punch Card will be punched
for each person that comes through on your card
(5 people = 5 punches on the card). Save on
your next visit to PGZ. Ask for the PGZ Punch
Card at the Admission Building as you enter.
A contest was
held during the Zoo Hullabaloo last summer to
name the Food Concession Building. The winning
name was “Cougar Café” submitted
by Valerie Jeffries. A logo has been made and put on the building. Don’t let
hunger interrupt your visit to the zoo. We have
a great selection of food at the “Cougar
Café”. It will be open daily
from 11AM to 3PM, from mid April until the end of September.
Lunches for school tours that pre-order are
also available. If you need information on this,
call 320-616-5595.

out the new section entitled Zoo Reciprocity

check the list as it will continue to be updated
throughout the year. To use your membership
